Honey, I Shrunk the Green Screen! Now What?

Thursday, March 15, 2018 ~ 1:45-2:30, Redbud

Description: From “How?” to “Wow!” with 3+ free or inexpensive tools
to enhance your library’s green screen adventures!

I simply cannot imagine my classroom without a green screen as it is has
become a standard fixture for student learning experiences in my class. I had
been using it for a little while, but learned an invaluable lesson last year when
we created these two longer more "green screen" intense videos below.

I have two large wall green screens, but it was difficult to get all students involved
without having long wait lines. At a conference this summer I saw the idea of
mini-green screens and automatically knew this would become a standard
operating practice in my classroom as well. Now with the use of mini-green
screens, I can have green screens all over the classroom with all students involved
simultaneously! Grab some green straws, pizza boxes, and green plastic table
coverings and get your students started creating amazing learning content!

A special shout-out to Starbucks and Pizza Hut for providing free
green straws and pizza boxes for my class. My students and I are
truly grateful!

*Coming soon ~ If you tweeted or sent me your green screen picture or video
created in today's session, check back here or on Twitter to see your work in
my conference Storify!
